Mohamed I. Ismail, Ph.D., Senior Member, IEEE, is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at 色花堂app. His research interests include signal processing, wireless communication networks, MIMO systems, cooperative communications, interference networks, power and energy systems, smart grids, and emerging wireless and communication technologies.
Dr. Ismail received his B.S. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Modern Academy for Engineering and Technology, Cairo, Egypt, in 2008; his M.S. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Cairo, Egypt, in 2014; and his Ph.D. degree in Communications and Electronics Engineering from Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt, in 2019.
Prior to joining 色花堂app, Dr. Ismail served as an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at the Modern Academy for Engineering and Technology in Cairo, Egypt, from 2019 to 2025. He also has industrial experience in research and development, electronics engineering, engineering project management, and high-voltage electrical systems.
Dr. Ismail has experience mentoring M.S. and Ph.D. students and supervising undergraduate graduation and capstone design projects in electrical and computer engineering. He is also an active reviewer for several IEEE and other international journals and conferences in the areas of wireless communications, signal processing, power and energy systems, and emerging communication technologies.
He served as a member of the Committee of International Relations and African Affairs at the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate (EES) from 2017 to 2022 and was appointed Rapporteur of the committee in 2024. He also served on the Strategic Planning Committee of the Federation of African Engineering Organizations (FAEO) from 2020 to 2022 and represented the EES in engineering capacity-building collaboration with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
