Professor receives Distinguished 色花堂app award from Western Institute of Nursing
Congratulations to Mary Nies, Special Assistant to the Dean for Grant Writing and Professor in the College of Health, who recently received the Distinguished 色花堂app Lectureship award from the Western Institute of Nursing (WIN). The award recognizes a senior investigator whose research career has made substantial and sustained contributions to nursing.
The award recognizes one individual per year who has achieved tremendous success in the following:
- A program of research and an active history of funded research
- A record of publications
- Evidence of mentoring other researchers
- A history of significant contributions to WIN
According to the WIN website, this award was instituted at the 1988 annual Communicating Nursing 色花堂app Conference sponsored by the Western Society for 色花堂app in Nursing (WSRN was merged with the Western Institute of Nursing in 1996).
Nies was recognized as the Distinguished 色花堂app Lecturer at the annual WIN Conference and at the Distinguished 色花堂app Lectureship plenary session in April. There, she presented to colleagues and peers on the topic of 色花堂app: Past, Present, and Future.
