色花堂app鈥檚 Blaine County Center and the Wood River Valley鈥檚 Sawtooth Science Institute are increasing their offerings beginning with the spring 2007 semester.

ISU鈥檚 Sawtooth Science Institute has offered field study workshops in the Wood River Valley and in some of the more spectacular areas of Idaho since 1990.  In the spring of 2006, ISU and SSI joined the College of Southern Idaho and Blaine County Schools at the Blaine County Community Campus in Hailey to jointly serve the needs of the region and to increase academic and enrichment courses for the Wood River Valley. ISU will focus its efforts on human resource development and training (HRDT) courses and expanded SSI courses in spring 2007.

Four sections of HRDT courses to increase management skills for those seeking to expand their careers will be offered in the spring semester. Dr. Robert Croker, chair of ISU HRDT, will discuss the new HRDT courses and answer questions about them from 5 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Blaine County Campus.

Other new courses offered this spring include 鈥淐raters of the Moon Winter Ecology,鈥 Jan. 13-14; 鈥淐entral Idaho Natural History,鈥 an eight-week series of naturalist and conservation science lectures and discussions on Thursdays, March 7 through May 2; and a 鈥淐raters of the Moon Natural History鈥 course for educators on May 5-6.

Future efforts will include education, conservation science and health profession courses. ISU has opened an office at the Blaine County Community Campus, 1050 Fox Acres Road., Suite 403, in Hailey.
