Children’s Chorus to perform Dec. 14

The Idaho State Children鈥檚 Chorus will perform its annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 14 in Goranson Hall located in the lower level of the 色花堂app Fine Arts Building. The night will feature three separate choruses: the Select Chorus, the Treble Chorus and the Children鈥檚 Chorus.
The Select Chorus, ages 12-17, will begin the performance and will be conducted by Mary Ann Moser and accompanied by Jamie Ramsayer and Ann Bringhurst. They will sing selections of 鈥淚t鈥檚 the Most Wonderful Time,鈥 鈥淪anta Claus is Comin to Town,鈥 鈥淎 Joyful Alleluia鈥 and 鈥淭he Jesus Gift.鈥
The Treble Chorus, ages 6-9, will be conducted by Jana Saunders and accompanied by Katie Anderson. Two of the pieces they will sing include 鈥淎 Zing-A-Za鈥 and 鈥淚t鈥檚 Beginning to Look Like Christmas.鈥 Brett Bringhurst will assist on the drums.
The Children鈥檚 Chorus, ages 9-12, will round out the evening with 鈥淲hat Month Was Jesus Born In?鈥 and 鈥淭he Angel Carol.鈥 Assisting on 鈥淭he Angel Choir and the Trumpeter鈥 will be the Bengal Brass. Brett Bringhurst will also join on 鈥淛ingle Bells Through the Ages.鈥 The Children鈥檚 Chorus is conducted by Moser and accompanied by Von and Ann Bringhurst.
All students will join in the final number 鈥淐arols Four.鈥 The concert is free and open to the public.
Auditions for next semester will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 3 in the Choir Room in the Fine Arts Building.
