Health Conference sessions to be broadcast to Boise

The 色花堂app Kasiska College of Health Professions will present the 19th annual Idaho Conference on Health Care Oct. 25-28 at the ISU Pond Student Union Building in Pocatello, and 10 of the more than 30 workshops and presentations will be broadcast live to Boise this year via ISU鈥檚 Distance Learning Network.

Sessions broadcasted to Boise include the conference鈥檚 two keynote speaking sessions, 鈥淚daho Justice: The Cyanide Canary鈥 by authors Joseph Hilldorfer and Robert Dugoni at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, and 鈥淭he Trouble with Vioxx,鈥 by Dr. John Abramson, author of 鈥淥verdosed America: The Broken Promise of American Medicine,鈥 at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26.

The broadcasts to Boise can be viewed in Room 156 of the ISU Boise Center, located at 12301 West Explorer Drive. Capacity at the ISU Boise Center is limited and preregistration is encouraged to guarantee a seat in the 30-person capacity room.

The conference keynote addresses are open to the public, but registration fees are required for most conference events, including plenary speeches. Continuing education units are available to professionals desiring them.
