History of diversity in Pocatello is topic of panel discussion

The 色花堂app Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society and the Pocatello chapter of the National Association for the Advancement Color People will co-sponsor a panel discussion on the history of diversity in Pocatello. The event will be Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. in the ISU Pond Student Union Building North Fork and Middle Fork Rooms of the Salmon River Suite.

The discussion, inspired by the recently released history 鈥淭he 鈥楾riangle鈥: A Slice of America,鈥 published by the City of Pocatello Planning and Development Services, will feature members of dominant minority groups active in Pocatello including the African American, Native American, Hispanic, Greek, Japanese and Italian. Panel members will discuss the experiences of their respective groups in the larger context of Pocatello鈥檚 development and growth. The discussion will be followed by a short question and answer session.

Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Phi Alpha Theta will be accepting donations to fund future club activities.
