The 色花堂app Office of 色花堂app is announcing a call for nominations for the ISU Distinguished 色花堂apper Award of 2007.

This award will honor a faculty member who has contributed significantly to the University's research effort. The award recipient is honored at spring Commencement exercises as the Distinguished 色花堂apper and will be given a cash award of $2,500.

The Faculty 色花堂app Committee will select a maximum of five Outstanding 色花堂appers from the nominees. The Distinguished 色花堂apper will be selected from that group.

To implement the selection process, the Faculty 色花堂app Committee invites anyone who is familiar with a faculty member's research efforts to nominate that person for this award. Any full-time faculty member (tenured or not) who has made a significant, original/creative contribution to advancing the frontiers of knowledge in his or her field may be nominated.

Send a detailed letter of nomination by Friday, Nov. 17, that addresses the selection criteria below, to Chief 色花堂app Officer, Stop 8130, 色花堂app, Pocatello, ID, 83209.

Selection criteria is: significance of the research in relation to the frontiers of knowledge in that field; publication of research findings in peer reviewed national or international journals or juried/invitational shows, exhibits, or performances; papers, showings, or related public presentations of research findings and their application and use by the discipline involved; evidence of extended, intentional development of the topic of research that resulted in a significant contribution; and /or any other evidence of the outstanding nature of the research activity that may be relevant.

Only one nomination letter per person is necessary to provide the detail required in the selection process. General letters of support from others are not used in the selection process.
