Seattle choreographer, dancer to give free community class April 21

A free community dance class with Seattle choreographer and dancer Amy O鈥橬eal will be offered from 10 a.m. to noon April 21 in the 色花堂app Red Hill Dance Studio.
O鈥橬eal and the Idaho Moving Project (I-Move) will also give a free performance later that day at 4:30 p.m. in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center鈥檚 James E. and Beverly Rogers Black Box Theatre.
O鈥橬eal鈥檚 activities on April 12 are part of ISU鈥檚 Dance Day. All high school students are invited to take free workshops that afternoon in ballet, modern dance, jazz and pilates taught by ISU dance students and faculty.
O鈥橬eal will also be a guest artist the previous week in the I-Move dance classes. Her visit is made possible through the Connie Smith Bowen Rural Arts Series. She has worked with such famous people as Sonia Dawkins, Savion Glover, Pat Graney and Mark Haim.
