Division of Continuing Education offers fall cooking classes

The first of nine 色花堂app fall semester culinary classes open to the public starts up Sept. 23 on the ISU campus.
Culinary classes being offered this semester include:
鈥 鈥淓ssential Culinary Skills,鈥 Tuesday, Sept. 23, 6-8 p.m., cost $20;
鈥 鈥淕arde Manger (French term),鈥 Tuesday, Sept. 30, 6-8 p.m., cost $20; participants will learn recipes, techniques for hors d鈥檕euvres and salads, and plating techniques;
鈥 鈥淨uick and Easy One Dish Meals,鈥 Tuesday, Oct. 7, 5:30-7:30 p.m., cost $20;
鈥 鈥淪uper Soups,鈥 Tuesday, Oct. 14, 5:30鈥7:30 p.m., cost: $20;
鈥 鈥淚t's a Date,鈥 Friday, Oct. 24, 5:30鈥7:30 p.m., cost: $35 per couple; participants will prepare complete dinner and then enjoy it;
鈥 鈥淚talian Classics,鈥 Tuesday, Oct. 28, 6-8 p.m., cost: $20;
鈥 鈥淭urkey and All the Trimmings,鈥 Tuesday, Nov. 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m., cost $20;
鈥 鈥淗oliday Little Bites,鈥 Tuesday, Nov. 18, 5:30-7:30 p.m., cost: $20;
鈥 鈥淪eafood Lovers' Dream,鈥 Tuesday, Dec. 2, 6-8 p.m., cost $20.
The culinary classes will be held in the College of Education Albion Hall Food Lab, Room 102.
ISU Continuing Education offers hundreds of classes ranging from Spanish conversation and ballroom dance classes, to digital photography classes.
