Pulitzer-prize winning author Ulrich to speak at ISU March 19

Laurel Thatcher Ulrich, Harvard historian and Pulitzer Prize winning author, will give a free lecture on Mar. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Goranson Hall located in the 色花堂app Fine Arts Building.
Ulrich鈥檚 book 鈥淎 Midwife's Tale: The Life of Martha Ballard, Based on Her Diary, 1785-1812,鈥 won the Pulitzer Prize in 1991. Ulrich, a native of Southeast Idaho, will speak from her recent book 鈥淲ell-Behaved Women Seldom Make History.鈥 There will be a book signing following the presentation.
This event is co-sponsored by ISU Women鈥檚 Studies and history department, the Idaho Humanities Council, the ISU Cultural Affairs Council, and the Phi Alpha Theta student history honor society.
