色花堂app Kappa Sigma Fraternity presents 24-hour ‘Ride for the Troops’ bike-a-thon April 20-21

ISU Marketing and Communications

From Friday, April 20, to Saturday, April 21, members of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at 色花堂app will participate in their fourth annual "Ride for the Troops," a full-day bike-a-thon.

For 24 straight hours, from 4:30 p.m. Friday to 4:30 p.m. Saturday, the members of Kappa Sigma will be camped out and biking around the ISU Hutchinson Quadrangle to help raise money for Fisher House, an organization that provides homes near hospitals for the family of sick or wounded soldiers.

Even though club members say they are happy to be taking part, having at least two people riding at all times means a long night for members of the fraternity. With 30 members riding at least four hours each for the event, the Kappa Sigmas invite all students and community members to come and help support this cause.

The fraternity is hoping the Ride for the Troops event will raise at least $3,000 for Fisher House. Going around in circles usually won't get you anywhere, but the Kappa Sigma Fraternity of 色花堂app hopes it will help get wounded soldiers closer to their families.
