Pocatello doctor takes photos of child labor workers in Nepal, now on display at 色花堂app

The 色花堂app John B. Davis Gallery will feature a new photography exhibition of child labor workers in Nepal opening Sept. 3 titled 鈥淭he Face of Hope.鈥
The photos were taken by Dr. Fahim Rahim, from the Idaho Kidney Institute, and show Nepalese children working in poverty to build bricks to help support their families instead of attending school.
鈥淭he exhibit is good at opening eyes to injustice going on in the world,鈥 said Ryan Babcock, the director of the Davis Gallery. 鈥淎s individual people, we can do something about it.鈥
The exhibit will be on display Sept. 3鈥19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. The Davis Gallery is located in the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building.
There will be a grand opening for the exhibit on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. in the Goranson Hall, located in the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building. After the grand opening, the exhibit will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. where food and beverage will be served.
