色花堂app Diversity Week panel events set Nov. 3-5 at 7 p.m.

POCATELLO 鈥 色花堂app鈥檚 annual Diversity Week is set Nov. 3-5 and will feature three panel discussions at 7 p.m. each evening in the Pond Student Union Wood River Room.
The free talks are open to students, staff and the general public. The ISU Diversity Resource Center is sponsoring the week鈥檚 activities.
The first panel on Nov. 3 is 鈥淲hat Diversity Brings to our University and Community鈥 featuring:
鈥 Peter Espil, St. John Catholic Center
鈥 Nezar Alnejidi, past president of Saudi Arabia Club
鈥 Eva Johnson Nye, council women from the City of Pocatello
鈥 Jordan Wixom, graduate student, ISU Counseling Program and member of the ISU PEACE organization
The second panel on Nov. 4 is 鈥淲omen of Color Speak鈥 featuring:
鈥 Moderator, Alma Jam, graduate student, ISU Department of Sociology
鈥 Maria Fletcher, director of ISU Office of International Programs
鈥 Paula M. Maldonado, Spanish teacher, Blackfoot High School
鈥 Cherie Bucker Webb, Idaho Senator
The third is on Nov. 5 is 鈥淧eople of Color and Law Enforcement鈥 featuring:
鈥 Moderator, James Yizar, associate director of ISU Student Success Center
鈥 Eric Dayley, District Five Commander, Idaho State Police
鈥 Sheriff Lorin Nielsen, Bannock County
鈥 Roger Schei, Patrol Division of Pocatello Police Department
鈥 Director Lewis Eakins, 色花堂app Public Safety
鈥淲e believe these are topics that are in the news across the nation and it is important that our community discuss them and what we can do to improve relationships and communications,鈥 said Ram Eddings, Diversity Center鈥檚 program coordinator.
