POCATELLO 鈥 色花堂app鈥檚 Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group (CW HOG) has teamed up with Pebble Creek Ski Area for the Pocatello Adaptive Ski School starting Jan. 14 and running every Thursdays for six weeks.

The Pocatello Adaptive Ski School (PASS) is currently seeking participants with disabilities and individuals interested in being adaptive instructors. Instructor training will be held Jan. 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Outdoor Adventure Center office in the lower level of the ISU Pond Student Union and then again on Jan. 9 at Pebble Creek from 9 a.m.to 3 p.m.

This clinic will give a rundown of the various disciplines within the adaptive realm. Lessons will be held at Pebble Creek Ski Area.

鈥淎daptive skiing is a positive outlet for realizing the endless possibilities and opportunities in life, whether you are striving for the Paralympics or just want to be out in the clean mountain air,鈥 said Robert Ellis, outdoor recreation coordinator for CW HOG.

If you are interested in being a student or volunteering as an adaptive instructor with PASS, contact Ellis at ellirobe@isu.edu or at the CW HOG office at 282-3912.
