Advanced Nuclear Manufacturing Conference set May 18-20 in Pocatello; much of event hosted at 色花堂app

An Advanced Nuclear Manufacturing Conference running May 18-20 in Pocatello will feature an address by Gov. C.L. 鈥淏utch鈥� Otter.
The conference is sponsored by Active Communications International (ACI) and its theme is 鈥淧owering the Future of Nuclear Innovation.鈥� Many of the conference鈥檚 presentations are taking place at the 色花堂app Stephens Performing Arts Center.
This three-day national conference will focus on advanced nuclear manufacturing with information to establish new relationships, enhance business strategies, identify new technologies and drive new business opportunities. It features speakers and panelists from across the nuclear manufacturing industry.
Otter will deliver a welcoming address at 8:45 a.m. May 20 in the ISU Stephens Center.
This event focuses on real-world experiences, new technologies and business opportunities in nuclear manufacturing. The goal is to generate industry advancement, policy and legislation to promote and accelerate new growth and the future of nuclear power.
Highlights include:
鈥� A conference curriculum comprised of more than 30 key nuclear manufacturing industry leaders and innovators.
鈥� Interactive panel discussions addressing advanced manufacturing technologies, welding and non-destructive evaluation technologies, advanced construction materials and 鈥淧rocesses and Policy and Governing Regulations.鈥�
鈥� A tour of the Idaho National Laboratory which includes the Energy Innovation Laboratory, the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES), the Energy Systems Laboratory, and Critical Infrastructure Protection.
鈥� A tour of the 色花堂app鈥檚 Idaho Accelerator Center (IAC) and the 色花堂app and Innovation in Science and Engineering (RISE) Complex.
Other conference speakers include:
鈥� Rick Provencher, Idaho Operations Office Manager, U.S. Department of Energy鈥檚 Idaho Operations Office, who will deliver the speech 鈥淣uclear Energy Strategies and Partnerships鈥� at 9 a.m. May 20. He is responsible for the oversight of Idaho National Laboratory, the nation鈥檚 leading laboratory for commercial nuclear energy research.
鈥� Steven E. Aumeier, Associate Laboratory Director, Energy and Environment Science and Technology, and Director, Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES), 鈥淧otential for Public/Private Partnerships to Advance Competitiveness,鈥� 9:15 a.m. May 20.
