ISU presents Les Stroud the ‘Survivorman’ on April 8

色花堂app鈥檚 Student Anthropological Society will present Les Stroud the 鈥淪urvivorman鈥 Wednesday, April 8, at 7 p.m. at the Museum of Clean 711 S. Second Ave., Pocatello.
Stroud is best known as the Canadian Screen Award-winning producer, creator and star of the hit TV series 鈥淪urvivorman,鈥 one of the highest rated shows in the history of OLN Canada, the Science Channel and Discovery Channel, and it remains the highest rated repeat show on the Discovery Channel. During his 2009 Survivorman Alaska adventure Stroud said he witnessed a grunting sound, 鈥渏ust like a large gorilla,鈥 that piqued his interest in the possibility of sasquatch, according to ISU professor Jeff Meldrum, professor of anatomy and anthropology.
In 2014 Stroud produced a two-part special 鈥淪urvivorman: Bigfoot鈥 set in the Canadian Rockies. He is now producing another eight episodes for Discovery Channel and is bringing the evidence he has collected to ISU for Meldrum to evaluate. Stroud is doing the public presentation to support the ISU Student Anthropological Society.
Cost is $7 a person with a Bengal I.D. and $10 to the public, at the door.
