Idaho Museum of Natural History holds summer membership drive
POCATELLO – The Idaho Museum of Natural History at 色花堂app is holding a summer membership drive to help accomplish its mission to inspire appreciation and curiosity for Idaho’s natural history through its exploration and preservation.
Membership benefits include free, unlimited admission to museum exhibits. Members can come see the 鈥淪ummer of Shark鈥� exhibits and experience Idaho鈥檚 265-million-year-old Helicoprion fossils and the recent addition of the equally weird Edestus shark.
Other membership perks include enjoying drawings, poetry and research documents from Edson Fichter鈥檚 studies of pronghorn in Idaho鈥檚 Pahsimoroi Valley in the museum鈥檚 鈥淒iscover the Naturalist Within, Journey with Edson Fichter鈥� exhibit. Participants can learn learn how to be a modern citizen scientist and can contribute to Fichter鈥檚 legacy with research projects ongoing today.
It takes a partnership with caring community members to help the Idaho Museum of Natural History succeed. An annual membership is a way for citizens and the museum to connect with past events, places and ideas. Membership support stays local, enriching the community and state.
