Mixed-media work by art professor Leekyung Kang will display at the West Las Vegas Library Gallery from Aug. 13 to Oct. 25.
鈥淚nvented Landscape,鈥� which explores the exterior surfaces and interior infrastructure of the cities Kang has lived in, is also on display . 
鈥淭he goal of this work is to expose the unseen and hidden spaces by capturing the raw and unfinished state of our present environment,鈥� Kang said. 鈥淚 seek to challenge the conventional understanding of space that focuses on the physical state, history, and transformation.鈥�
Kang teaches drawing, printmaking and design courses at Idaho State. Her work has been exhibited in South Korea, Qatar and throughout the U.S.
