The College of Technology will honor students whose commencement ceremony was cancelled due to COVID-19.

The 色花堂app鈥檚 College of Technology will be hosting a carpool graduation celebration to honor graduating seniors, who鈥檚 commencement ceremony was cancelled due to COVID-19.  The college has put together a unique graduation celebration to show their love and support for their students during this time. On Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m. students and their families and friends have been invited to drive through the Eames Innovation Complex parking lot to be celebrated by the college鈥檚 faculty and staff parked along the route.

The College of Technology has organized a designated path through the Eames parking lot where faculty and staff will be parked with their cars decorated, holding signs of encouragement as students and their families drive through so they can still have some semblance of graduation and being recognized for their achievements.

This unique celebration will allow the college to connect as a community while also maintaining social distancing guidelines. This is a special opportunity for students and college officials to come together when they have been separated for so long.

Faculty and staff will arrive between 5 - 5:45 p.m. to set up and park their cars in the Eames parking lot with students and their families arriving between 6 - 6:45 p.m. to participate in the event.

Courtney Rhodes, Director of Marketing and Recruitment for the College of Technology explaining the route and instruction on how students will need to participate.
