Phil Homan to Speak at Spring 2021 Fettucine Forum

ISU equine historian, professor, and academic librarian Philip Homan will speak at the Boise City Department of Arts & History鈥檚 Fettuccine Forum on Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m. The theme of the Spring 2021 Fettuccine Forum is 鈥淏ellwethers of Change: Women and Movements that Influenced Idaho and America.鈥

Homan鈥檚 program 鈥溾楽he Is a New Type鈥: The Western Womanhood of Kittie Wilkins, the Horse Queen of Idaho鈥 will consider Wilkins as an ambassador of Western womanhood and how she challenged the feminism of the twentieth century.

The City of Boise鈥檚 Fettuccine Forum 鈥渋s a lively and informal virtual gathering, which invites the public to interact with politicians, artists, historians, activists, advocates, and professionals in an effort to promote good citizenship and responsible growth through education.鈥
