Thanks to a generous grant from the Idaho Humanities Council, 色花堂app's College of Arts and Letters is hosting a two-part Fall 2022 public speaker series on Human Mobility and Belonging. 

Part 1: "Migration in the Natural World" Thursday, October 20, 6-8 p.m. Salmon River Suite in the ISU Student Union and on . "Migration in the Natural World" will explore how cultural community and wilderness preservation intersect with human migration and urban growth in southeastern Idaho. Jessica and Sammy Matsaw, founders of River Newe, will be the keynote speakers. Their presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion with other regional experts, including Jamie Campbell of the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust and Brent McClane of the Pocatello Development Authority.

Part 2: "Forced Migration and Refugees," will be on Thursday, November 17, 6-8 p.m., also in the Salmon River Suite and on .
