Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Set Jan. 16
The 色花堂app Diversity Resource Center invites the campus and community to join them on Monday, January 16, 2023, for its annual celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
The festivities begin at 1 p.m. with a march from Holt Arena to the Stephen鈥檚 Performing Arts Center. The march will be followed by a program at the center, consisting of music and reflections on Dr. King鈥檚 legacy.
The theme for this year鈥檚 celebration is 鈥淎 Stone of Hope,鈥� derived from King鈥檚 鈥淚 Have a Dream鈥� speech delivered August 28, 1963. Among those who will share their thoughts at the celebration will be ASISU president, Zandrew Webb, and ISU President Kevin Satterlee. The keynote speaker for this year's event is ISU Alumnus and current Assistant Track and Field coach, Treyshon Malone.
