The State Board of Education has once again awarded ISU funding to support faculty-led STEM undergraduate research projects during the upcoming academic year 2022 - 2023.

This year, funds will be awarded to six faculty labs, or research projects, with the selection based upon proposals. A maximum of $8,000 will be awarded to a single lab (or project) to fund 2-3 undergraduate students for the academic year. Funds must be expended by June 1, 2023. Preference is given to faculty who did not receive these funds last year.

As in the past 2 years, the emphasis of this application is on the mentoring plan that is developed for this project more than on the research topic itself. The application and additional information can be found here.
