Applications Sought for Project SEED Internships at 色花堂app Department of Chemistry

This summer, local high school students can get hands-on and paid experience thanks to the American Chemical Society and 色花堂app’s Chemistry Department.
Starting in February, ACS will be accepting applications for the group鈥檚 Project SEED (Summer Experiences for the Economically Disadvantaged) internship program at 色花堂app. Project SEED鈥檚 mission is 鈥渢o ensure that students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds have opportunities to experience the challenges and rewards of chemically-related sciences.鈥
鈥淭he interns will gain real-world research experience working with ISU professors and researchers,鈥 said Dr. Joshua Pak, Chemistry Department Chair. 鈥淲e encourage all high school students who have taken or are taking a high school chemistry class and meet the eligibility requirements to apply.鈥
The internship lasts eight weeks, from June to July. Interns will be paid $3,200.

Applications will be accepted from February through March. Students who are selected will be notified in April.
