Lilian Fonseca, one of our TRIO Access & Opportunity Programs recruiters, was interviewed by March 31 about the impact of CAMP (College Assistance Migrant Program). Lindsey Peterson works as a Systems and Data Management Director in Enrollment Management. Peterson was an invited speaker for an Evisions webinar, and subsequently the customer of the month. She is building programs that make our services to students more streamlined, comprehensive, and helpful! Peterson is willing to learn from others in her network, but she also shares her knowledge with others.  Peterson is helping to raise the profile of ISU with seminars such as this one, which you can view on the . The title is 鈥淓ncapsulating an Entire Process in Argos.鈥� 

Omar Recendez Nu帽ez is our April Career Path Intern of the month. A senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in physical education, Recendez Nu帽ez currently holds a CPI internship in the ISU Athletics鈥� Biomechanics Laboratory, where he assists with research projects and maintains biomechanics equipment, work experience that he values: 

鈥淲orking with Dr. Sung and other professionals has helped me to develop research process skills, teamwork productivity and camaraderie. The knowledge and skills gained during my internship will transfer to my future career and working with others as I continue my education at the University of Utah Doctor of Physical Therapy School in June of 2022.鈥� 

This month, Recendez Nu帽ez will present his research project titled, 鈥淩elationship of Posture, Cervical Deep Neck Flexors Dysfunction, and Upper Crossed Syndrome in College Students" at the National Conference in Undergraduate 色花堂app (NCUR). 

In addition to day-to-day work in the laboratory, Recendez Nu帽ez has assisted in a qualitative study authored by ISU alumnus Denver Dobson. The study, titled 鈥淓xploring the Challenges that Limit the Hispanic Population from Receiving Healthcare in Idaho,鈥� has been accepted and Omar will present it at the 18th International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry (ICQI) in May 2022. 

鈥淎s an undergraduate student and an intern, Omar's accomplishment for the last year is extraordinary,鈥� said Jonghun Sung, Assistant Professor of Human Performance and Sport Studies and Nu帽ez鈥檚 supervisor. 

Born in Zacatecas, Mexico, Recendez Nu帽ez moved to Eden, Idaho, over a decade ago. He will graduate in May 2022, after which he will start the physical therapy program at University of Utah in June. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family, riding horses, and working out.
