Seven Proposals from ISU 色花堂appers Selected for CAES Collaboration Program Development Funds
April 13, 2022
Seven projects pairing researchers from 色花堂app’s College of Science and Engineering with their Idaho National Laboratory counterparts are getting a boost from the Center for Advanced Energy Studies.
Recently, CAES announced the recipients of their Collaboration Program Development Funds for 2022. The proposals funded by CAES that include ISU researchers range from lowering the carbon footprint of concrete to understanding how radiation damages new metal alloys, ways artificial intelligence can help quicken the start-up process of pebble bed reactors, and more.
鈥淥ur collaborations with INL - as represented in these awards - showcase the cutting edge innovation that ISU engineers and scientists bring to solving some of our planet鈥檚 most vexing energy problems,鈥 said Dr. Scott Snyder, Dean of ISU鈥檚 College of Science and Engineering.
In total, 13 proposals were selected by CAES; just over half of the proposals funded included an ISU collaborator. The following ISU researchers are receiving funds:
- Mustafa Mashal
- Leslie Kerby
- Amir Ali
- Anirban Chakraborty
- Mostafa Fouda
