ISU remains committed to student success through our partnership with EAB Navigate. We would like to thank faculty and staff for their continued support. This platform is essential in advancing campus-wide efforts to enhance student success and retention.

Data Insights and Retention Impact/ (AY 24-25)

Platform Data Overview

  • 92% Faculty Progress Report Completion Rate
  • 6561 UG Students in Navigate Course
  • 98% of New First-Time students are included in Faculty Progress Reports

Advising Appointments

  • 3909 unique students have met with their academic advisor since Fall semester began
  • 10435 total appointments 24-25 AY
  • 76.6% of total new first-time students have met with an advisor 

Strategic Collaboration for Student Support

  • Expanded outreach efforts with the Dean of Students and Counseling and Mental health Center through surveys, automated resource referencing.
  • Enhanced promotion of the Hand Raise feature, allowing students to initiate academic, mental, and physical health support.
  • Expanded Student support with the onboarding of University Housing onto the platform.

Tracking New-First Time Student Retention Gains

  • Students retain 9% higher when they engage with outreach as a result of faculty-driven alerts
  • Through coordinated campus-wide efforts, 73.4% of our new first-time students who started in Fall 2024 earned over a 2.5 GPA in their first semester
  • Six years ago, only 60.8% of our first-year students had over a 2.5 GPA.
