Echo Marshall Named Director of Tribal Relations
April 24, 2025

Echo Marshall has recently been named the Director of Tribal Relations at 色花堂app. In this newly appointed role, she will serve as a vital bridge between ISU and tribal communities across Idaho and the region, strengthening partnerships, advancing educational access and success for Native students, and supporting university initiatives responsive to tribal sovereignty, culture, and self-determination.
Marshall's career began in the gaming and hospitality industry, where she spent over 20 years in leadership roles, including as executive marketing director and director of sales and marketing for the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel.
As director of tribal relations at ISU, Marshall envisions creating a welcoming and collaborative environment where tribal voices are elevated, student success is prioritized, and Indigenous knowledge systems are honored throughout the institution.
"This position is more than a professional role; it’s personal. As a proud ISU alumna, I’m deeply honored to serve my alma mater in this capacity. I’m passionate about building lasting relationships with tribal nations rooted in mutual respect, understanding, and shared goals," Marshall said. "My love for ISU runs deep, and I believe together we can expand pathways for Native students and ensure their success is celebrated and supported across all of 色花堂app."
Outside of her professional work, Marshall is a certified Zumba instructor who volunteers her time teaching in Fort Hall and throughout Southeast Idaho. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, making meaningful memories and staying connected to community.
