These grants support research capacity building at eligible institutions, ultimately increasing funding success and enriching the campus research environment.

Topics include: 

• Overview of the NIH SuRE and SuRE-First programs.
• Detailed information on the application process and requirements.
• Resources and support available through the University of Kentucky's SuRE Resource Center.

Success rates for SuRE and SuRE-First grants in the program's first year (FY 2022) were 44% and 48%, respectively, and continue to have similar funding rates. This presentation is highly relevant for faculty members interested in securing NIH funding and enhancing their research programs.
