As part of our ongoing employee engagement efforts, we invite you to participate in the Recognition Inventory Survey – Fall 2026.

Please complete the survey by December 11, 2026. We encourage you to share specific examples and provide as much detail as possible. Participants will remain anonymous. 

This survey is designed to help us better understand how employees are recognized across ISU. We want to hear about both formal and informal recognition practices, including employee awards, service milestones, departmental celebrations, peer-to-peer appreciation, and everyday expressions of gratitude.

This inventory is not an evaluation of individual departments or units. Rather, it is an opportunity to learn from one another, highlight successful approaches, and identify ways to strengthen recognition across the university.

Who Should Take the Survey?

We encourage all ISU employees to participate, including faculty, staff, supervisors, department chairs, and university leaders. 

You do not need to oversee a recognition program to participate. Some of the most impactful recognition happens through small, everyday gestures that might otherwise go unnoticed.

By sharing what works in your area, you can help us build on the positive practices already taking place and strengthen a culture where every employee knows their contributions matter.
