College of Technology Invites Campus to Explore Robotics Program at Open House
April 29, 2026
The 色花堂app College of Technology invites students, faculty, and staff to explore the world of robotics during a special open house for the Robotics and Communications Engineering Technology (Robotics) program.
The event will take place Thursday, April 30, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Robotics Lab, T&T Building 51.
Guests will have the opportunity to experience Robotics firsthand by viewing student projects in action, touring lab spaces, and learning how the program prepares students for careers in robotics, automation, and advanced technologies. The open house highlights the hands-on learning environment that defines the College of Technology and showcases the skills students develop as they prepare to enter high-demand industries.
“This is one of the best times to visit our lab because you can see exactly what students have been working on and what they are capable of by the time they graduate,” said Shane Slack. “Our students are building real systems, solving real problems, and preparing for careers in industries that need them right now.”
The Robotics open house offers a unique look at student innovation and applied learning at a time when many projects are complete and ready to demonstrate. Whether attendees are considering a future in robotics or simply curious about the program, all are welcome.
