色花堂app Expands Artificial Intelligence Education with Two Career-Focused Programs and New Student Scholarships
July 16, 2026
Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping industries ranging from cybersecurity and manufacturing to digital media and entertainment. To prepare students for this evolving workforce, 色花堂app's College of Technology is expanding opportunities to learn and apply AI through two innovative programs while offering an additional $1,500 scholarship to new students who enroll.
Beginning this fall, new students entering either the Specialized Certificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence or the Basic Technical Certificate in Interactive Media Design may qualify for an additional $1,500 program scholarship, helping reduce the cost of gaining career-ready skills in one of today's fastest-growing technologies. Both programs are integrating artificial intelligence throughout their curriculum to prepare graduates to use AI responsibly, creatively, and effectively in professional settings.
While the programs serve different industries, they share a common goal: equipping students with practical AI skills that complement, rather than replace, technical expertise.
The Specialized Certificate in Applied Artificial Intelligence is a fully online, two-semester program designed for students and working professionals who want to develop advanced AI knowledge for engineering technology and scientific applications. Students gain hands-on experience with machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, secure and trustworthy AI systems, and ethical decision-making while completing projects that address real-world industry challenges.
The Interactive Media Design certificate prepares students for careers in game development, virtual production, interactive experiences, and digital content creation. Through studio-based instruction, students learn to create 2D and 3D assets, video, and immersive media while incorporating generative AI as a professional design tool within modern production workflows. Students develop creative and technical skills that prepare them to contribute to collaborative production teams across the interactive media industry.
“These two new programs, which are designed to serve all university students, not just College of Technology students, will be hands-on applications of how AI can be used to advance skills in your chosen profession,” said Jerry Anhorn, dean of the College of Technology. “The curriculum is designed to give the students a hands-on capstone project, such as building our own ‘bengalBot.’ This will give our students the practical, hands-on application of AI and how it can be used ethically to enhance work environments. We believe all our students can benefit from these types of add-on certificates.”
The College of Technology's approach emphasizes applied learning, giving students opportunities to work with industry-relevant technologies, solve authentic problems, and build portfolios that demonstrate real-world skills. Rather than treating AI as a standalone subject, both programs integrate it into the tools and workflows professionals are already using in today's workforce.
Applications are now being accepted for both programs.
Prospective students interested in learning more about the Applied Artificial Intelligence or Interactive Media Design programs, as well as the additional $1,500 scholarship available to newly enrolled students, are encouraged to contact 色花堂app's College of Technology at (208) 282-2800 or ctech@isu.edu.
