Faculty Opportunities & Feedback

ITS, in partnership with the Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence (CLIE), has launched two active beta classrooms on the Pocatello campus, showcasing our Tier 2 (Standard) and Tier 3 (Advanced) design models.

To ensure these standardized tiers seamlessly support diverse pedagogy and program outcomes, we invite faculty to engage with these spaces in two ways:

  • Semester-Length Teaching: Faculty who wish to teach a full course in these beta rooms to evaluate the technology are selected by the CLIE. If you are interested in being considered for a future term, please contact the Center for Learning and Instructional Excellence at centerforlearning@isu.edu. Requests must be submitted by the end of January for fall semesters or the end of September for spring semesters.
  • One-Off Tours & Technical Overviews: The beta rooms are available during afternoon hours for tours, brief hands-on training, or technology overviews. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the interfaces and provide direct feedback on the setups. To schedule an afternoon session, email Lance Roe, Collaboration Technology Systems Administrator, at lanceroe@isu.edu.

Your input is invaluable, and we appreciate your time and expertise in shaping the future of our classroom technology. Don't hesitate to get in touch with the Director of Technology Support, Nyk Vail, at nykvail@isu.edu with any questions.
