Adjunct, GA, and CPI teaching contracts are 18 weeks long and include; 1) the week before classes begin (August 17), 2) the 15 weeks of classes, 3) fall break, and 4) finals week (ending December 18); summer session teaching contracts are 4 to 8 weeks long depending on the session.
It is contractually expected that instructors; 1) teach all the labs they are on contract for, 2) grade all assignments, 3) attend instructor meetings, 4) proctor exams, and 5) participate in tutoring/office hours.
Mandatory Responsibilities (1-12)

| 9. | Arrive at your assigned lab section at least 10 minutes before the start time and be fully prepared to guide your students through the lab activities. |
| 10. | Hold tutoring/office hours BY APPOINTMENT |
| 11. | Proctor one to two exams per semester. |
| 12. | The instructor on record that needs a substitute is required to find a substitute from the group of lab instructors that are presently teaching 1101L/1102L/2227L or have taught it in the past. Substitution needs to be reciprocated. Substitute instructors grade the task sheets/quizzes/etc. for the lab section they are substituting for and then passes the graded materials to the instructor on record. Instructor on record enters the grades into the grade book spreadsheet for their sections. |
