How the Innovation Hub Came to Be
Through a university-wide listening process, faculty and staff shared thousands of ideas focused on improving how the institution operates and adapts to change. This feedback was organized into key themes:
• Structural Redesign
• Strengthening Our Academic Core
• Operational Efficiency
• Investing in People & Performance
• Revenue Growth & Diversification
The Innovation Hub is directly connected to these themes—particularly the emphasis on Investing in People. This includes supporting employees with clearer processes, better tools, stronger coordination, and access to the right expertise at the right time.
Our work supports efforts across these areas by helping connect ideas, build shared systems and resources, and support the structures needed to implement priorities set by university leadership.
What We Do
The Innovation Hub connects people, ideas, and resources to support initiatives across the university—from early-stage concepts to full implementation.
We provide support in areas such as:
• Process improvement
• Project planning and coordination
• Technology implementation and alignment
• Training and workforce development
• New program and service development
• Change leadership and engagement
Our role is not to replace existing teams, but to work alongside them—connecting existing efforts and coordinating work across teams so initiatives move forward in a clear, aligned direction.
