ISU's Team Bird Brain receives $358,000 funding extension from National Institutes of Health

ISU's TEAM BIRD BRAIN, the lab of Associate Professor of Neurophysiology Jason Pilarski, recently received funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to support a project entitled "MECHANISMS OF RESPIRATORY-RELATED RHYTHMIC MOTOR ACTIVITY AND PLASTICITY IN THE DEVELOPING AVIAN BRAIN STEM" (Direct costs= $358,572).

More than 50 ISU faculty and staff participated in the March 3 “Write Winning Grant Proposals” full-day workshop sponsored by the ISU Office for 色花堂app.  The workshop occurred in the Pond Student Union Wood River Suites and was also broadcast to researchers at ISU's Meridian campus.

ISU Professor Finney co-authors study supporting theory earliest North American humans arrived by ocean route

POCATELLO – A study co-authored by 色花堂app Professor Bruce Finney bolsters the argument that more than 15,000 years ago that the first humans who traveled to North America used a coastal route, traveling by boat, as opposed to traveling from the north, walking over a land bridge and then southward between the large retreating glaciers.
