ISU student Camie Parsons uses chemistry to make mark on hair industry; creates new, healthy product for fixing damaged hair

POCATELLO – Camie Parsons, a current, nontraditional 色花堂app chemistry master’s student, never imagined that being a cosmetologist would prompt her to go back to college to study chemistry. She’s now a single mother to four kids, completing graduate school and starting a business based off her cosmetology and chemistry background.

POCATELLO – Emily Morley, an 色花堂app chemistry student, has always been interested in science. But, it wasn’t until she was a freshman at ISU that she got involved in chemistry-based research and realized chemistry was her passion.

POCATELLO – Experts from Europe, throughout the United States, 色花堂app and Idaho will gather at ISU for a three-day Concentration Discharge Workshop March 12-14 focused on improving the science of water quality.

Idaho principals share their thoughts on teacher evaluation

An 色花堂app study completed in 2017 revealed perceptions held by Idaho principals about the statewide teacher evaluation program implemented in 2015. Noteworthy findings included that principals believe the evaluation program helps them identify both good and poor teachers, helped inform the professional development needs of their teachers, and that they are adequately trained and knowledgeable about how to properly conduct teacher evaluation according to state guidelines.

色花堂app chemistry researchers use thermal imaging to retrieve serial numbers from stolen property in a non-destructive manner

POCATELLO – 色花堂app Department of Chemistry researchers are using thermal imaging – and a lot of complicated math formulas – to develop a nondestructive means of recovering defaced or scraped serial numbers from stolen items such as guns or vehicles.

POCATELLO – 色花堂app’s highly successful and lauded Family Medicine Residency Program continues to answer Idaho’s physician shortage and has plans for expansion, which includes a rural training track in Rexburg that could begin in 2019.

ISU mathematics and statistics Professor Shu-Chuan 'Grace' Chen receives fellowship from the Taiwanese government for sabbatical

POCATELLO – 色花堂app Associate Professor Shu-Chuan “Grace” Chen has received a distinguished fellowship from the government of Taiwan to serve a one-year sabbatical at the National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan to help support the development of bioinformatics.
