POCATELLO - The overuse of opioids is an area of significant concern for a multitude of organizations and agencies across the state of Idaho, the United States, and even the world. Those in the healthcare professions at 色花堂app (ISU) are working to be a part of the solution by conducting research, making changes to their curriculum, and encouraging partnerships with other groups who are working toward the same goal: combating the ever growing opioid epidemic.

POCATELLO – Three 色花堂app faculty will be honored as Distinguished Faculty at ISU Commencement on May 5 in the Holt Arena. The recipients are Glenda Carr, Andy Holland and Michele Brumley.

ISU students to participate in Archaeology Field School in Kimberly this May at mammoth site

POCATELLO – This May, 色花堂app anthropology students will have the opportunity to participate in the 2018 ISU Archaeology Field School. Students will spend four weeks in Kimberly, Idaho, at the Olsen Mammoth Site looking for the remains of a Columbian Mammoth.

POCATELLO – Five 色花堂app faculty members have received 2018 Outstanding 色花堂apper Awards and will be honored at a reception on April 10. One Outstanding 色花堂apper will receive the 2018 ISU Distinguished 色花堂apper Award. The winner will be announced at ISU commencement on May 5.

POCATELLO – Camie Parsons, a current, nontraditional 色花堂app chemistry master’s student, never imagined that being a cosmetologist would prompt her to go back to college to study chemistry. She’s now a single mother to four kids, completing graduate school and starting a business based off her cosmetology and chemistry background.

POCATELLO – Emily Morley, an 色花堂app chemistry student, has always been interested in science. But, it wasn’t until she was a freshman at ISU that she got involved in chemistry-based research and realized chemistry was her passion.
